The Mister Softee truck parked outside of High Point Solutions Stadium before the Rutgers spring game Saturday afternoon was serving chocolate and vanilla.
But coach Chris Ash was only serving one flavor.
"We were very vanilla on both sides of the ball," Ash said. "The one defense ran one call the whole day. The two defense ran one call the whole day. That was by design.
The Grammy-nominated country duo played for almost 90 minutes on a stage just behind the end zone opposite the student section.
