Rutgers rallies to beat Nebraska 66-63, advances in Big Ten Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Shrita Parker scored 18 points and 10th-seeded Rutgers came back from eight points down late to beat seventh-seeded Nebraska 66-63 in a Big Ten tournament second round game on Thursday.

Kahleah Copper had 17 points and nine rebounds for the Scarlett Knights (18-13), who move on to face second seed and No. 9-ranked Ohio State in a quarterfinal game on Friday.

Rutgers trailed by eight inside of 7 ½ minutes. Back-to-back driving layups by Parker and Tyler Scaife gave Rutgers a 64-63 lead with 1:12 to go. After a foul at the top of the key with just over three seconds left, Nebraska had trouble with the inbounds play and threw it away.
