FARMINGDALE – Apparently someone forgot to tell members of the 2015 Rutgers football senior class that their time as teammates is supposed to be over.
Two months after playing their final college game, linebackers Quentin Gause and Steve Longa, running backs Paul James and Sam Bergen, and left tackle Keith Lumpkin still are on the practice field together.
Only now they are training for the 2016 NFL Draft, not for the Big Ten schedule.
