Rutgers Football Reportedly Hires Pete Rossomando As Offensive Line Coach

Per a report on Monday night from the coaching site Football Scoop, Rutgers is hiring Central Connecticut State’s Pete Rossomando as its new offensive line coach. The Staten Island native is replacing A.J. Blazek, who left for North Dakota State earlier this month.

Rossomando served as head coach for CC State the past five seasons, amassing a 23-24 record. However, he went 14-9 the past two seasons and led the program to its first trip to the FCS playoffs in 2017. He was previously the head coach at New Haven, where he had a record of 42-13 and two trips to the Division II playoffs.
