In 2016-17, the cumulative GPA for the entire Rutgers student body was 3.068.
That figure was nearly identical to the cumulative GPA for all of Rutgers’ 22 sports teams in 2016-17: 3.069.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the Rutgers football program's annual cumulative GPA since 2005:
- 2005-06: 2.574
- 2006-07: 2.676
- 2007-08: 2.747
