Does Rutgers wrestling have another national championship contender?

PISCATAWAY — Since 141-pounder Anthony Ashnault entered the Rutgers wrestling program two years ago, the team's coaches consistently have touted his potential to contend for a national championship.

Now, the name of another Scarlet Knights grappler is being mentioned in the potential title mix: Richie Lewis.

The 157-pound junior didn't join the program amidst the fanfare of Ashnault, but Lewis is already making his mark. The transfer from Iowa Central Community College upset Michigan's No. 9-ranked Brian Murphy Sunday afternoon to improve to 19-3 on the season and 13-1 in dual meet action.
