Thursday, Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, N.J.) wide receiver Bo Melton, arguably New Jersey's most explosive player in the 2017 class, is visiting Rutgers accompanied by his father Gary Melton, who played for Rutgers in the early nineties.
Melton, the 2015 Cape-Atlantic League Football Player of the Year, confirmed Thursday morning that he was on his way to the school.
A 6-1, 185-pounder, Melton currently holds 14 offers, including Rutgers, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Pitt, Syracuse, Temple and Boston College, to name a few.
Meanwhile, Rutgers and Michigan are believed to be positioned well early on.
