Rutgers' assistant athletics director for fan experience is headed to Syracuse for a prominent role with the Orange football program.
Andrew Robinson, who filled multiple roles for Rutgers athletics and the football program since graduating from Syracuse in 2007, was named director of football operations by Syracuse coach Scott Shafer on Friday.
Robinson will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, including the overall management of the football budget, team travel, bowl game coordination, and Shafer's football camps.
"Drew has a passion to be back at his alma mater and working in our football program,'' Shafer said in a statement.
