Jim Harbaugh is will try to shore up his 2016 class with 3-star DE Connor Murphy, but it’s not the first time the two have crossed paths.
Murphy and his father shared a funny story with Sports360AZ about how Harbaugh was his one-time babysitter. Seven years ago Harbaugh, then head coach at Stanford, and assistant D.J. Durkin went to the Murphy house to meet his parents as his older brother Trent was commited to Stanford.
But Murphy’s mother went into labor with her seventh child, so she and his father went to the hospital, leaving Harbaugh to babysit the Murphy siblings, including an eight-year-old Connor.
