Unlike most memes, the Crying Jordan phenomenon seems to enjoy an aura of invincibility. The great ones come and go. Remember “Blurry Mr. Krabs”? What about “_______ is Too Damn High”? Heck, even the “Obama and Biden” memes have already given way to the “Evil Kermit In A Hood” offerings.
Crying Jordan, however, has stood the test of time, having stuck around for a few years at this point, and as long as there are heartbreaking losses in sports…or, heck, losses anywhere…there will be someone with a Photoshop app and a cutout of the famous sad face ready to do the His Crying Airness’s bidding.
