Frank Beamer’s been at this coaching thing a long time, and while we’re almost sure he knows what “exhibition” means, we’re not 100-percent sure.
Beamer and Virginia Tech lost to East Carolina this weekend, 35-28, falling to 2-2 at the outset of their ACC slate. Nonconference games count, of course, but don’t tell Beamer, who thinks of them as episodes of “Whose Line is it Anyway?” (via Richmond Times-Dispatch’s Mike Barber):
