The Raiders Will Play A Game In Mexico City Next Season, So Of Course Speculation Is That They’ll Move There

The NFL announced today that the Oakland Raiders will play the Houston Texans in Mexico City on Nov. 21 of this year, and that it will considered a Raiders home game — possibly because the nation’s estimated 22 million NFL fans are enamored with the silver and black.

The Monday Night Football game will be at Estadio Azteca, home of Mexico’s national soccer team and the site of the first international regular-season NFL game in 2005 (49ers-Cardinals). The Raiders-Texans game is the first of a series — three regular season games will be played in Mexico City under a three-year agreement.
