On Saturday, April 14, the Mix 105.1 and Broadway Media will be hosting the URFC home-opener concert, starring triple-platinum recording artist, Rachel Platten. This international singer and song-writer will not only open with the national anthem, but will offer a post-game concert at the stadium to all who attend the Utah Royals FC vs. Chicago Red Stars match (kickoff set for 1:30 p.m. MT).
Platten, the author of Billboard’s Top 100, “Fight Song,” will be the first female to perform at Rio Tinto Stadium -- and will be the first home national anthem singer for Utah’s first female professional soccer team.
