Real Salt Lake have been linked in the last few days with a shock return for one of their academy graduates: Brooks Lennon, 19, a forward, has been playing for Liverpool’s U-23 side but is now set for a year-long MLS loan.
That’s according to a Liverpool Echo report that dropped today, stating that the Liverpool U-23 striker is set to return to Liverpool at the end of RSL’s 2017 campaign.
Lennon left for Liverpool in July 2015; he had been a frequent target for the Merseyside club for some time before that. He joined after he was able to secure an Irish passport, and he’s been playing there since.
