KSL on-air personality charged with DUI after Kaysville crash

An on-air personality for KSL’s morning show has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after allegedly causing a car crash in Kaysville.

Casey Scott, 44, was arrested Monday after police say he was driving on U.S. 89 at around 3:20 p.m. when he “left his lane” and swiped another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle lost control, according to a probable cause statement filed in court, and crashed into another car in an intersection after running a red light.

The Utah Highway Patrol trooper noted in his report that Scott smelled like alcohol, and three open containers of beer were found inside his car.
