Growing up in a small town in Northern Alabama where football is king there wasn’t much talk of things that didn’t include “Roll Tide” or “War Eagle”. Everywhere you go you are asked, “Who do root for?” My answer always takes people a moment to comprehend, and for some they still ask, “Cool, but seriously, is it Alabama or Auburn?”
When I was young I always loved the game of basketball. I guess you could it say I was born with it. Although I never actually attended Purdue, I still feel a tie to the Old Gold and Black that I can’t explain.
