A pair of teams that reached at least the Sweet 16 could highlight the non-conference schedule for the Purdue women's basketball team. In early season tournaments Purdue could face Mississippi State, who made the Sweet 16 and Stanford who made the Elite 8. The game against Stanford could occur in Cancun as both the Purdue men and women will play in that event.
The season begins on November 6th with an exhibition against Division II Ursuline. The season begins in earnest with a four-team tournament at the University of Maine as Purdue will face the host Black bears on November 11th.
