Purdue picked up a huge, both literally and figuratively, commit today as Malcolm Robinson, a 3*, 6’2, 280 pound defensive tackle from Massillon, Ohio gave Purdue his verbal commitment. Robinson is the 8th class of 2017 player to give the Boilers a verbal commitment, and is the second commit on the defensive line, along with Tennessee defensive end Tijaun Mason.
Robinson has the standard Pu-Pu platter of MAC offers, but also boasts a Boston College and Virginia offer. Both Army and Air Force have also offered Mr. Robinson a scholarship, so I’m guessing grades and character aren’t an issue.
