The Purdue coaching staff is looking to add another linebacker to the 2019 class, and current Western Michigan commit Jacob Wahlberg has moved to the front of the line.
Wahlberg is a tall middle linebacker prospect with a great frame and long arms. He’s a little on the skinny side right now, but is sure to fill out his long frame once he gets into Purdue’s strength and conditioning program. On film he flashes as a defender with great range and tackling ability. He is able to track plays inside out and make tackles other middle linebackers simply can’t get to.
