For the third straight season, Coach Brohm is getting a grad transfer from Western Kentucky.
This time, it is Nick Holt’s son, Ben, fresh off a 100 plus tackle season, which lead the Hilltoppers this past year.
Ben makes the third WKU grad transfer, joining T.J. McCollum in year 1, Dennis Edwards in year two and now Ben in year 3.
This was needed, while the linebacking core is getting older, finally, it still lacks depth. Before Ben was announced, our back-up linebackers were penciled in as Jaylan Alexander and Jack Smith coming off of the redshirt, as well as the plethora of incoming linebackers we have coming for the 2019 class.
