Purdue women’s basketball made the official announcement this morning via Twitter that former Purdue great, now former Marian University head basketball coach, Katie Geralds will be returning to Purdue as Associate Head Coach for the 2021-2022 season. She will ultimately take over the head job in 2022-2023. Mike Bobinski seems to be imitating the Gene Keady to Matt Painter transition that worked so well under former Purdue AD Morgan Burke.

Geralds played at Purdue from 2003-2007 and played under both former head coach Kristy Curry and current head coach (and new boss) Sharon Versyp.
