The Big Ten continued to announce conference awards today and a Purdue freshman was award the Freshman of the Year Award. Who else could it be but Dillon Thieneman? The true freshman stepped up in a big way this year and played beyond his years. I’m just imagining the bragging rights at Thanksgiving and Christmas with his brothers given that they also played at Purdue. I would never stop reminding my brothers I won this award and they didn’t. Going to be very sweet for him.
