College Basketball Rankings February 12: Purdue Takes Expected Fall

If Miles Bridges had missed or if Keita Bates-Diop doesn’t get a putback Purdue might be No.1 in this week’s AP Poll. A Purdue win over MSU would have meant the top 4 teams all lost last week. Unfortunately, those things did not happen, so Purdue took a drop in this week’s college basketball AP Poll, missing out on the chance to be No. 1 for the first time ever.

Instead the drop is not as bad as originally suspected. Purdue fell only three spots to No. 6.
