PC 74, Georgetown 56: 16 points, 11 assists for Kyron Cartwright

WASHINGTON, D.C. - It may be time for the Georgetown Hoyas to just be done with it and start calling the Providence Friars their Daddies.

The Friars overwhelmed the Hoyas Monday night at the Verizon Center, 74-56, to sweep the season series for the third consecutive year. PC's six-game win streak over Georgetown is its longest in the long-running Big East series.

PC, which improves to 13-7 and 3-4 in conference play, never trailed in the game. The Friars built a 42-27 halftime lead, led by more than 20 points for long stretches of the second half and cruised to the win.
