PROVIDENCE --- Over the years, the Providence Friars have welcomed everyone from Dick Vitale and Jalen Rose to Big Sean and Ludacris to help lead its annual Late Night Madness celebration.
This weekend brought the biggest – literally and figuratively – name yet: Shaquille O’Neal.
The Hall of Fame big man fashions himself as a DJ these days, or at least when the mood strikes. That was the case late Saturday night inside PC’s Mullaney Gym, as O’Neal entertained a sellout crowd of 3,000 students who were on hand to watch the men’s and women’s basketball teams get introduced and go through a light workout.
