PROVIDENCE — The Friars’ annual trek around New England is coming to an end.
PC has played Boston College in each of the last 13 seasons and the University of Massachusetts in the last six, but both of those series are ending. There are currently no plans to re-sign contracts with either school, at least for the 2019-20 season.
PC’s non-conference schedule for next season is anchored by a three-game trip to the Wooden Legacy in Anaheim, Calif., a road game at Rhode Island and a home date against Texas. The Friars are also planning on taking part in the Gavitt Games series against a Big Ten opponent and will host the Longhorns in the inaugural Big East vs.
