PROVIDENCE — With Wednesday's 76-62 win over New Hampshire in hand, Providence could officially turn its focus to Saturday's showdown with Rhode Island.
For the first time in several seasons, it's the Rams who will enter the contest as the nationally ranked favorite. And that's not escaping head coach Ed Cooley's attention.
"Honestly, it is a big deal in our small state and in our city. You look at them — they're picked really high and nationally ranked. We were picked really low," Cooley said. "We're going to have our hands full. We're going to be the underdog in our building in that game.
