Victor Anichebe insists he shows the value of the free market as striker backs David Moyes to succeed at cash-strapped Sunderland

Victor Anichebe says he is proof of the value which exists in the free-transfer market - a route Sunderland boss David Moyes will be forced to explore next month.

The Black Cats have won every time Anichebe has started at the Stadium of Light this season, this 1-0 victory making it three out of three.

The 28-year-old - who was again the star man - was released by West Brom at the end of last season and spent the summer working with a personal trainer in Los Angeles.
