Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko will be banned for three matches for violent conduct, including the north London derby with Arsenal.
The France international, 27, elbowed Bournemouth's Harry Arter in the face during Saturday's goalless draw.
Sissoko apologised afterwards but was charged by the Football Association and Spurs will not appeal the decision.
He will miss Tuesday's EFL Cup tie at Liverpool, a league visit of Leicester and the trip to Arsenal on 6 November.
The FA said the incident was missed by match officials and Sissoko had until 18:00 BST on Tuesday to respond.
