The former Chelsea forward has returned to English football at Anfield, with the Reds making him the most expensive player in the club's history
Mohamed Salah is “what Liverpool need” and an “intelligent signing” by Jurgen Klopp, according to Craig Bellamy.
The Reds have made the Egypt international the most expensive purchase in the club’s history, with a deal to acquire him from Roma set to cost them over £36 million.
Salah has prior experience of life in England, having taken in a frustrating stint at Chelsea before flourishing in Italy.
He showed in Serie A that he possesses the qualities required to be a top forward among Europe’s elite and Bellamy believes he will prove to be a shrewd investment at Anfield.
