Vardy this week revealed he has adopted a bizarre ritual of sipping a glass of port on the eve of matches to help him sleep, then the next day waking himself by drinking three cans of Red Bull and a double espresso.
Writing in his autobiography, Jamie Vardy: From Nowhere, My Story, the 29-year-old admits he first drank port before scoring in last season's opening day victory over Sunderland and carried it on throughout the incredible campaign.
