Jose Mourinho follows in the footsteps of Alan Partridge as the Manchester United boss continues his hotel stay

Jose Mourinho continues to live in a Manchester hotel, despite becoming United manager 116 days ago.

The Old Trafford boss, whose side have suffered a miserable week which saw them beaten three times, is yet to find a permanent home in the city.

While his family remain in London, Mourinho is living out of a suitcase at the Lowry Hotel, where he has stayed since he was named United boss on a four–year contract.

In news that may concern the club’s supporters, the Portuguese is yet to lay down roots in Manchester, although his house hunting is thought to have been placed on the backburner while he grapples with dragging the club out of what has been a miserable era since Sir Alex Ferguson’s exit in 2013.
