Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan have announced that Jose Antonio Vicuna will take over as the head coach for the 2019-20 season. The UEFA Pro Licence holder will fill the spot vacated by Khalid Jamil following a disappointing season in the I-League.
The Spaniard has coaching experience in Spain and Poland, where he won the Polish League and Polish Cup in 2012-2013 as part of Legia Warsaw coaching staff.
Following his Legia Warsaw stint, he joined La Liga club Osasuna as an assistant manager and stayed there for just over half a season.
