Leeds United have been waiting 16 years for promotion. Given the long list of issues that scuppered their hopes in the past, no one thought a pandemic would stop them this time.
When they beat Huddersfield just two weeks ago, everything seemed to be going swimmingly. They were suddenly seven points clear of third, top of the Championship and on course for a place in the Premier League.
While they wait for the coronavirus crisis to end, though, plans have been put in place they will still be able to take that chance.
