Everton have signed 19-year-old defender Niels Nkounkou on a free transfer after his contract with Marseille expired.
The left-back, who can also operate in midfield, has signed a three-year deal at Goodison Park and becomes the club's first signing of the summer.
Nkounkou joined Marseille two years ago after coming through the academy system at French side Stade Brest.
