Covid-19 is once again playing havoc with the sporting calendar in the United Kingdom.
A number of football and rugby clubs have reported outbreaks within their squads and coaching staff as the new strain of coronavirus spreads across the country.
We have already seen the postponement of several football fixtures in the Premier League, the EFL and the National League over the Christmas and New Year period.
More postponements are likely to follow in the weeks ahead as clubs battle to contain outbreaks within their ranks.
