Portland Trail Blazers legend Bill Walton made a stop at Powell's City of Books in downtown Portland on Saturday for a signing with his new book "Back from the Dead."
Walton was the No. 1 overall selection in the 1974 NBA draft and helped lead the Trail Blazers to their only NBA championship in 1977.
However, the 1978 league MVP couldn't avoid injuries and played in just 44 percent of regular-season games during his career. He has undergone nearly 40 orthopedic surgeriesu200b in his life.
