Damian Lillard had a great 2016-2017 NBA season. He averaged 27 points per game, 5.9 assists per game, and 4.9 rebounds per game (ESPN). He helped lead the Trail Blazers to the 8th seed in the Western Conference, 3rd in the Northwest Division, and a record of 41-41, .500 even. What looked like was going to be a struggling season for Portland, they were able to turn it around get into the playoffs. Lillard was a leader in and out of the locker room, which should be candid for an All-NBA selection.
