As part of the organization's Make It Better platform, the Trail Blazers joined adidas, Timbers FC, Thorns FC, Widmer Brothers Brewing, the Boys and Girls Club of Portland and SOLVE Oregon for Service, Sports & Suds 2015. The service project was geared toward helping restore wildlife at Dahl Beach at the confluence of the Clackamas and Willamette Rivers, as volunteers spent Tuesday afternoon removing invasive plant species from the area. Blazers President Chris McGowan also took part in the event, with a little help from his right-hand trail cat, Blaze.
