The Seattle Kraken are leaving ROOT Sports Northwest for the 2024-25 season, as reported by the Seattle Times (paywall). Their non-national games will now be seen on Amazon Prime, with no additional fee for viewing beyond the cost of Prime. At least fifteen of the games will also be simulcast on other Tegna-owned NBC affiliates in Seattle and Portland, KONG and KGW. Networks in other northwest areas are expected to be added later. Nationally-televised games (such as those on ESPN and TNT) will still be exclusive, and unavailable on local networks or streaming.
