That beeping sound you hear? That's the injury-riddled Memphis Grizzlies backing out of the fifth seed.
The Grizzlies have dealt with a seemingly endless string of injuries this season and on Thursday they added their 28th player to a constantly shape-shifting roster. No team in NBA history has had more players cycle through a roster during an NBA season than the 2015-16 Grizzlies.
Yet Memphis still stands in fifth place in the Western Conference with a one and a half game lead over the No. 6 Portland Trail Blazers heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.
