(Golden State and San Antonio are both 9-1 over that stretch. But that’s to be expected because, well, they’re Golden State and San Antonio.) With their overhauled roster and kinetic style of play, Portland has become one of the best stories in the NBA, and if this keeps up, fifth seed in the Western Conference playoffs isn’t out of the realm of possibility. This week will be a huge gauge, as the East Coast road trip continues with stops in Toronto and Boston, where they’ll face the second and third winningest teams in the conference.
