It's a cliché, no doubt, but it's a cliché because it's true - come late April, you can forget about the numbers and the narratives and the projections about which team's better than what team. Ultimately, all that matters is matchups. It doesn't matter if one team won 50 games another won 55, or if one's offensive efficiency is higher by a couple of points per 100 possessions, or whatever else.
