In an interview with Joel Odom of OregonLive on Saturday, USWNT star and former NWSL MVP Crystal Dunn stated that she wants an attacking role with Portland Thorns FC.
Dunn, who was traded to the Thorns as a part of a three-team blockbuster deal on Thursday, has played several positions throughout her career, and has been a defender on the USWNT alongside now Thorns teammate Becky Sauerbrunn. With her new team she wants a new role as well, and she thinks she’s on the same page with head coach Mark Parsons when it comes to that.
