SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The Portland men's basketball team will enter the 2022 University Credit Union WCC Basketball Tournament as the No. 6 seed and earn an opening round bye. The Pilots will face the winner of No. 7 San Diego and No. 10 Pepperdine on Friday at 8 p.m. The tournament will once again be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
The WCC determined the seedings for this year's tournament using the Ken Pomeroy Adjusted Winning Percentage Rankings. The rankings take into account factors such as strength of schedule and road vs. home within conference play only.
