PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland sophomore forward Kimberly Hazlett was voted to the Preseason All-West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Team, which was released on Thursday morning as part of the league's preseason poll. The WCC's 10 coaches picked the Pilots to finish fifth as a team.
Hazlett, who originally hails from Bellingham, Wash., appeared in all 19 games during her first year on The Bluff, making 15 starts. She scored two goals and registered one assist last fall, and she claimed her first career game-winner against Southern Utah.
Hazlett is one of 14 returning letterwinners for the Pilots, who also bring back seven starters.
