With a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000, the first two starting flights of Event #3: The $250 Frenzy got underway, giving players another opportunity to scoop a monster payday for a small buy-in.
Day 1a began at 10 a.m. Friday morning, gathering 128 entries. Just 28 would make it through the scheduled 14 levels of play. Leading the way was Mark Anthony Alonzi, bagging a healthy stack of 309,000 chips.
