Will Allen didn’t want to become another post-football career “horror story.”
“You hear about guys not knowing what to do all the time,” the former Steelers safety said, “and they just kinda fall off a cliff after football.”
After 12 seasons in the NFL, including five-plus seasons with the Steelers, Allen decided to pursue a career related to what he calls one of the world’s most pressing global issues: energy solutions.
“Energy impacts everyone on this earth,” said Allen, who graduated from Ohio State with a degree in communications. “It’s the most global thing I think of.
