Craig Wolfley is back in the Wolf’s Den Studio at the Pittsburgh Podcast Network to preview the 2017 Pittsburgh Pirates – that’s right, not the Steelers, Wolf’s talking baseball with his son-in-law, Kyle Nicholson.
In college, Kyle Nicholson was a record-setting ace pitcher for Texas A&M for four years. Kyle was drafted by the San Francisco Giants and played several years in their minor league system, becoming the 2008 Single-A Starting Pitcher of the Year. After injury brought his pro career to an end, Kyle returned to Texas A&M as a graduate assistant Pitching Coach, and coached the Texas A&M Aggies in the 2011 College World Series.
