The Cincinnati Bengals will never succeed as long as they pull moves like this. While the Bengals did have a need for a Cornerback it was deemed lower on the priority list by majority of the pundits. Wide Receiver, Running Back, Defensive Line and Offensive line needs were all sited as higher priority. There is only one solid reason the Bengals drafted Cornerback William Jackson III at the 24th pick immediately before the Steelers could at the 25th and that was to rub the Steelers nose in excrement. I can just imagine the smugness of the Cincinnati ‘war room’ while they snatched a player they knew the Steelers coveted.
